Vertically Integrated Manufacturer:

  • Your custom equipment is designed and engineered at Lawton Machinery.
  • Castings are poured by Lawton's Bay Engineered Castings Division
  • Patterns for those castings are developed by Lawton Pattern
  • Large castings and weldments are machined to exacting tolerances by Lawton's PMES Division
  • Final assembly, of the hydraulic and electrical subsystems, integration, test, and run-off is accomplished at Lawton Machinery.

For over 120 years (beginning in 1879) The C.A. Lawton Co. has been servicing a wide range of customers in the metal castings and plastics molding industries. There is a deep and long tradition of creating value for our customers by helping them to reduce cost or enhance productivity while maintaining quality and profitability.

The C.A. Lawton Co. is a multi divisional organization with total sales approaching $50M made up of the following:

  • Lawton Machinery is a custom designer and builder of engineered-to-order molding equipment.
  • Bay Engineered Castings is a gray and ductile no-bake jobbing foundry, primarily focused on castings weighing between 2000 and 10,000 lbs.
  • Lawton Pattern has 15 Journeymen / 25 employees focused on servicing customers with their prototyping, production and replacement part pattern and tooling needs.
  • Paper Machinery Equipment Services primarily services the paper industry with repair replacement components and process equipment.
